Verizon to Add Five New Markets, Expands Coverage in 3 Others for LTE Service

Verizon is continuing its push to have the whole nation covered in 4G LTE by 2013 by adding more markets and expanding coverage in others as of tomorrow. The areas that will see this LTE service will include:

Glens Falls, N.Y.Utica, N.Y.Lawton, Okla.Brownsville, TexasMcAllen, Texas

Those that will see an expansion in coverage include:

Atlanta, Ga.Houston, TexasSpokane, Wash.

As of right now, these new areas bring Verizon’s LTE service count to 195 areas. You can check out the presser via the source which also includes a list of all other areas with 4G LTE. So if you live in these areas expect the switch to be turned on sometime tomorrow and those in the other areas can expect to see better coverage. Here’s hoping you have a 4G phone to take advantage!
