Spotted at CES early this month, the LG Connect 4G was sporting MetroPCS branding but apparently wants to play with the big dogs as well. According to a recent FCC filing, LG’s Connect 4G sports CDMA/EvDO bands as well as LTE band 13, which means the device will join forces with Verizon as well as the already confirmed MetroPCS. It’s likely that Big Red will consider this phone as the little brother to the LG Spectrum, which has a larger 4.5-inch display.
Referred to as model number VS840, the Connect 4G also won the FCC’s approval for Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities as well. The device wears a 4-inch NOVA display, has a 5MP camera, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and will run Android 2.3. No word on pricing and availability, but you can bet your ass we will let you know once we find out more. Anybody interested?
