For you UK folks who are in the market for a new mid-range smartphone, online retailer Clove just revealed Motorola’s upcoming release details for the MOTOLUXE and DEFY Mini. These devices are ones that Moto claims to be “two stylish smartphones that break boundaries, but won’t break the bank.”
The MOTOLUXE is expected to land in late February – early March and will run £258 ($400) including VAT. This device features a 4-inch edge-to-edge touchscreen display, an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and flash, front facing VGA camera, 1400mAh battery, 800MHz processor, and Android 2.3.7. It also features a lanyard slot that has a lighting effect to let you know when you’ve missed a call, received a text or have an email waiting for you.
The DEFY Mini is also expected around the same time as the MOTOLUXE and will run £175 ($270) including VAT. The device is water-resistant, dust-proof, and has scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Class for the display. It features a 3.2-inch display, 3MP rear camera with flash, front facing VGA camera, 1650mAh battery, and Android 2.3.
